Portrait Study after Jacek Malczewski

Hand painted Woman Portrait Study in olis, on board. Painted from a photograph, judging by eye, no tracing of any kind. Converted from a square to portrait format. Famous Polish painter Jacek Malczewski created this study in 1907 in oil on a cardboard 34x35cm. This is my pastiche / copy. I tried to be very accurate in studying his brushwork, although, because he painted only a study sketch, and I have a tendency to beautify things, her face looks more natural than and finished than in the original sketch
